What we do
Discover Hunza plans guided tours through Hunza, Skardu and the wider Gilgit-Baltistan region. We work with local drivers, guides and guesthouses so that the people who live here take part in, and benefit from, your visit.
We keep groups small, plan each route around the season and the road conditions, and leave time in every day for the things you only find by slowing down: a walk through an orchard, a conversation over tea, the light on a peak at the end of the afternoon.

What guides us
The principles behind how we plan and run every tour.
Local knowledge
Our guides and drivers know these roads and villages, and will tell you when a different day or route will serve you better.
Safety first
We watch weather, road and trail conditions and will change the plan rather than take a risk. We also tell you honestly when a tour is too demanding for you.
Responsible tourism
We favour family-run guesthouses and local suppliers, and ask guests to respect village customs, dress modestly and look after the places they visit.
Flexible plans
Every itinerary can be lengthened, shortened or rebuilt around your dates, pace and group, and we explain what the changes mean for the price.
